Children’s artwork brings to life Frontier’s latest development in Wheatley

Local schoolchildren have decorated the hoarding for a new care home being developed by Frontier for leading care developer St John’s Care Trust (SJCT) in Wheatley, Oxfordshire.

Children from Wheatley CE Primary, aged between six and 11, were asked by SJCT to illustrate what caring meant to them. Some of the pieces that were produced were inspired by the hearts and rainbow motifs used to celebrate key and care workers during the lockdown.

Luke Harris Construction Director at Frontier said:
“As trusted developers we aim that our developments improve residents care as well as being part of enhancing local communities. We are delighted the the children from the Wheatley primary school have been part of celebrating the new development by creating artwork for the hoarding to show everyone what caring means to them. They did a fantastic job! “

SJCT Deputy CEO Kerry Dearden said:
“At SJCT we pride ourselves on having great relationships with the local communities surrounding our homes and we are delighted that the community in Wheatley have been keen to be involved with our newest home right from the beginning of the development. We very much look forward to more future interaction with Wheatley Primary School and its creative pupils.”
